Brandon Birner
Brandon Birner is a graduate of the University at Buffalo and SUNY Fredonia, receiving a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and a Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Science respectively.
Brandon is licensed as a Physical Therapist in the State of New York and has completed several clinical experiences in the Buffalo region and the South Towns prior to joining Greater Buffalo Physical Therapy in 2023.
Brandon’s interest in Physical Therapy began with his own rehabilitation following an injury received in soccer. Since beginning his journey into physical therapy, Brandon has become interested in pain management science, orthopedic therapy, sports medicine, manual therapy, and vestibular rehabilitation.
As a certified Vestibular Rehabilitation Therapist through the American Institute of Balance, Brandon is trained in treating symptoms of vestibular hypofunction, including but not limited to Vertigo, imbalance, disequilibrium, and oscillopsia (vision blurring with head movement). He is also experienced in treating mechanical forms of vestibular dysfunction such as BPPV through successful canal repositioning maneuvers.
Brandon plans to continue building his clinical skills in evidence-based practice to provide the best possible care for his patients. He strives to return his patients to the functional activities they love and improve their quality of life through a patient centered plan of care.
